1. How does IV therapy work?
IV therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants directly into your bloodstream through a small catheter placed in the arm. Because the digestive system is bypassed, nutrients reach your cells quickly and at near-complete absorption. Most clients feel hydration and energy effects during or shortly after the same visit.
2. Who is IV therapy for?
Anyone looking to support hydration, energy, immune function, athletic recovery, post-travel or post-illness rebound, hangover or migraine relief, or general nutrient replenishment. Each session is reviewed by our clinical team and matched to your goals — there is no one-size-fits-all formula. We complete a brief medical history screening before your first infusion to make sure each visit is safe and appropriate for you.
Q3. What are peptides, and are they safe?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids — naturally occurring signaling molecules that direct cellular processes throughout the body. We work with peptides that support recovery, sleep quality, immune resilience, weight management, skin health, and longevity. All peptide therapies at Vitality River are medically supervised. New clients complete a clinical intake before starting, and we provide ongoing follow-up to track progress and adjust protocols as needed.
Q4. How long does an appointment take?
A standard IV infusion averages 45 to 60 minutes depending on the formulation. Peptide consultations run about 30 minutes for the initial intake; follow-ups are shorter. We do not rush our visits. The space is designed to feel calm, not clinical.
Q5. Do you offer mobile or in-home service?
Yes. (Launching August 2026) We offer mobile IV therapy in select Tulsa-area zip codes for clients who prefer to receive care at home, at the office, or before or after travel. A small mobile service fee applies in addition to the IV. Contact us to confirm your location is within our service radius.
Q6. Do you take insurance?
IV therapy and peptide therapy are wellness services and are not billed through insurance. However, many of our services qualify for HSA or FSA reimbursement. We also offer monthly memberships starting at $99 to make ongoing care more accessible.
Q7. How much does it cost?
Pricing varies by service and formulation. Single IV infusions, peptide protocols, and add-on injections (B12, glutathione, Toradol, vitamin D, and others) are all available individually. For ongoing care, our memberships start at $99 per month for The Spring tier and include a service credit each month plus member-only perks. Full pricing is available on the Services and Memberships pages, or by calling (918) 259-3003.
Q8. Can I bring a friend?
Yes — and we encourage it. Members at The Current tier receive 15% off services for a friend; members at The Source tier receive 25% off. It is a meaningful way to share recovery, energy, or peptide support with someone who would benefit alongside you.
Q9. What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Late cancellations and no-shows are subject to a Care Access Deposit fee of $25, which helps us hold space efficiently for the clients who need it. A portion of these fees is donated to a local animal rescue partner through our Giving Back program.
Q10. Where are you located, and what are your hours?
Vitality River is at 5508 S Lewis Ave, Tulsa, OK. We can be reached at (918) 259-3003. We also serve select Tulsa-area zip codes for mobile visits.
